ProjectM, a positive news oriented digital platform, has this month clocked three years since its launch.
Launched three years ago, the platform has gone on to become one of the best platforms where positive news about Malawi is published, at a time when most media platforms focus on negative news.
Over the years, the platform has made a positive impact by, among others, unearthing hidden creatives, bringing to light positives about Malawian creators and conducting various charity works across the country.
One of the people who has benefited from the platform’s coverage is award-winning entrepreneur and innovator, Innocent Mandili.
Mandili has described ProjectM as one of the platforms that did not relent in covering his works when few believed in his innovations.
“ProjectM has been one of the platforms that did not relent in covering my works, they gave me a voice when I needed it most and showed the world that Malawians are innovating,” Mandili said.
The innovator has urged Malawians to start supporting and following the platform.
Meanwhile, the platform’s founder, Jeremy Namwali, says the journey has not been easy but worth it.
He has since urged Malawians not to stop trusting that better things are coming for Malawi and that the country’s positive stories deserve to be told.
“We started ProjectM to change the narrative about Malawi and we want Malawians to keep believing that better things are coming for our country, because they are,” said Namwali.
As it enters its fourth year, Namwali has indicated that ProjectM will remain committed to amplifying hope, creativity and resilience from every corner of Malawi.
