Organisers of the highly anticipated Miss Malawi 2025 beauty pageant have announced that nationwide auditions will begin next week, starting with the Central Region.
National Pageant Director Faith Chikukula said the auditions are a crucial stage in identifying Malawi’s next beauty queen who will represent not just beauty, but intelligence, confidence, and purpose.
The first round of auditions will take place in Lilongwe on 3 August 2025 at Pearl Convention Centre, starting promptly.
Contestants are expected to strictly follow the dress code: black jeans, a white top, light or nude makeup, and mandatory high heels.
According to Chikukula, auditions for Blantyre and Mzuzu are scheduled for 9 and 16 August 2025, respectively, as the organisers aim to reach talented young women from all corners of the country.
The grand finale of the Miss Malawi 2025 pageant will be held in Lilongwe on 13 December, where the crowned Queen will walk away with a cash prize of K30 million alongside other assorted prizes.
Miss Malawi is one of the country’s most prestigious platforms that not only showcases beauty but also promotes national culture, talent and female empowerment.
Interested participants are encouraged to prepare accordingly and arrive on time for the auditions.
