The event, titled Nollywood/South Africa Actors Roundtable, is aimed at strengthening collaboration across the continent and addressing key issues affecting actors, including collective bargaining and royalties.

Organised by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) in partnership with the South African Guild of Actors (SAGA), the roundtable is taking place in Johannesburg at the Mercure Hotel Bedfordview.

The event marks a major step toward uniting African creatives to advocate for better working conditions, fair pay, and standardised rights across national borders.

She has expressed her commitment to sharing the knowledge and experience gained during the event with stakeholders back home to help strengthen the local film industry.

Those expected to attend include Dr. Ejezie Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria; Mr. Jack Devnarain, National Chairperson of the South African Guild of Actors; Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim; Nollywood child actor Uchechi Treasure Okonkwo; and the event’s moderators, Hungani Ndlovu and Beverly Osu.
