Organisers of the much anticipated Lilongwe motor show have indicated that preparations for this year’s event have been concluded.
The event, now in it’s 7th edition, will take place on the 27th of June 2026 at the Bingu International Convention Center square in Lilongwe.
Show organizers, Motor Show Limited has indicated that the Lilongwe motor show has been organized following a resounding success of its previous editions.
“The Lilongwe motor show is set to return for it’s 7th instalment, promising an even more exhilarating experience for car enthusiasts, dealers and automotive businesses alike,” said Alinane Njolomole who is the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Njolomole has further indicated that the show will showcase a diverse array of vehicles, including the latest models from renowned manufacturers, classic cars and cutting edge automotive technologies.
“Attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore and engage with a wide range of exhibitors, network with industry professionals and immerse themselves in the vibrant automotive culture,” said Njolomole.
The show organizers also urged local innovators to register for participation at the function.
“We want innovators like those we have seen assembling cars from scraps to come forward and showcase their inventions,” he added.
A similar event which happened last year saw car enthusiasts being treated to a wide range of car exhibitions and an impressive display of skills.
Lilongwe based car enthusiast Mackford Chindipha has expressed excitement, saying he is eager to showcase his mechanical skills.
“I do assemble parts that some car enthusiasts may love and I would like to showcase them,” said Chindipha.
