As the clock ticks towards the end of the 2025, Blantyre City Council has organised the Mayor’s End of Year Party in central business district.
Announcing the news on his Facebook Page, Blantyre City Council His Worship Mayor Isaac Jomo Osman, the party will be held along Independence Drive/Victoria Avenue near Immigration offices, Delamera House at Town Hall.
“Let’s celebrate the year! Join us at Victoria Hall, Blantyre Town Hall TODAY! Free event kicks off at 6pm. See you there!” reads a statement from the Mayor.
The bash will be spiced up by Mibawa Band and disco music.
Meanwhile, many have welcomed the bash, saying Mibawa is a good band.
“We have got it right Mibawa is good,” said Thom Kapte.
But another writer appealed to the Mayor to ensure that there is security at the event.
