The past week has seen a number of high school of learning and universities holding graduations.
Malawi School of Government, Malawi College of Accountancy, Kamuzu College of Health Sciences and University of Malawi conferring degrees to their congregagations in which the artistes were among them.
Socialite and business mogul, Dorothy Kingston, who is the Film Association of Malawi president and gospel musician Khama Khwiliro graduated at MCA in bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Public Relations and Applied Accounting and Information Systems, respectively.
Renowned radio drama and development media and marketing guru and musician Mafumu Matiki graduated in Master of Arts in Theatre for Development from UNIMA.
Matiki, popularly known as Mulelemba in theatre circles, is also lecturer in communication at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences.
Reacting to the feat, Kingston expressed her excitement, saying it will help her endeavours.
“Bachelors degree in Marketing and Public relations bagged with credit. All thanks to God the almighty for the Devine favor, My Husband for being my rock and my Lecturers for sharing your expertise.
This degree is a dream come true,” said Kingston.
While Khwiliro said he owed it to Divine Intervention.
“It’s been God since day one. Celebrate with me as I graduate today with Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Accounting, Auditing and Information Systems ( CREDIT) with Malawi College of Accountancy
“And [I would like to thank everyone for your support all these years I have been out and about. I have also a brand new song Titled ZIONETSERENI featuring Apostle King James Phiri.
What a double celebration.”
