H Adam Wholesalers has committed K15 million to supporting the Division 1 League in Malawi’s Eastern Region Football Association, a move expected to uplift grassroots football and unlock opportunities for budding talent.
This follows a K26 million sponsorship the company recently provided to the Premier Division.
Speaking during the sponsorship signing in Liwonde, Sales Manager Oster Banda said the support aims to nurture young and talented players.
“This region has great football talent that simply needs exposure and support,” he said.
Football Association of Malawi (FAM) First-Vice President Christopher Kuyera, who attended the event, urged league organisers to manage the funds with integrity and promised FAM’s continued technical support to the Eastern Region Football Association (ERFA).
ERFA Vice-Chairperson Issa Brahim welcomed the sponsorship, saying it has revived hope for many Division 1 teams eager to compete.
The sponsorship is expected to improve the quality of the league and help develop football at the grassroots level.
