3 Malawian Teams Invited to Mozambique

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Civil Service United have been invited to participate in a two-day tournament organised by hosts UD Songo.

Another Mozambique club CD Chingale will also participate in the tournament.

Wanderers chief executive officer Panganeni Ndovi said the tournament was timely as it would help them prepare for the 25 season kicking off in April.

“We are excited with this invitation because it will use the tournament to assess our players ahead of the season kick off. This is a great opportunity for us,” he said.

Meanwhile, Wanderers will face CD Chingale in the first match on Saturday while Civil date UD Songo in the second match later.

The winners will play on Sunday in the final while the losers clash for third-place finish.

Meanwhile, Creck Sporting Club will also head to Mozambique to play two friendly matches against Clube Ferroviaro of Lichinga on Saturday and Sunday.

A letter from Lichinga states the team will meet transport, food and expenses.
