SPARC ORGANISE ENTREPRENEURS CONFERENCE

In an effort to inspire others and grow the country’s innovation space, Sparc Systems Limited has called on entrepreneurs to join their roundtable discussion during the official opening of the Sparcs Complex in Lilongwe.

The management of Sparc Systems Limited told the media on Friday that all is set to launch its magnificent Sparc ICT Building in Lilongwe’s City Center on October 23.

Then the event will be extended to a one-week function dubbed ‘Sparc Complex Week’ (from October 23 to 27, 2024).

“We would like to call for entrepreneurs to join us at the Sparc Complex Week’s Business Morning, where the founder and CEO of Sparc Systems Limited Dr. Wisely Phiri will share insights on expanding beyond Malawi’s borders right at the Sparc Complex.

It is important to share insights about the global market, including Sparc’s core functions in the over three African countries it is operating, namely Rwanda, Zambia and Malawi,” reads part of statement posted on Sparc Systems Limited’s Facebook page.

In a separate interview, Phiri said the Sparc Complex Week will be a rare opportunity of learning, sharing and celebrating progress made by the Malawian company.

He said: “Apart from unveiling our state-of-the-art facility, we want to showcase our innovations and excellence in IT solutions. The idea is to celebrate progress together and inspire excellence among fellow entrepreneurs in the country. So, this event is must to attend because it is poised to share significant insights for learning purposes.”

Phiri hinted on the need for local entrepreneurs to work together in order to inspire progress as a country.

“When we want to thrive, let us thrive together. This is the spirit we should embrace to develop ourselves and our country,” he said.

Entrepreneurs play a significant role in our society such as by championing innovations that bring about solutions in different sectors of development.

Apart from directly contributing to the socio-economic development by creating jobs and offering services, entrepreneurs make massive contributions through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
