ZOMBA-BASED IT PROFESSIONAL CONDUCTS TRAINING ON WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT

Zomba-based information technology (IT) professional Allan Masiyano has organised a 14-day training course on website development to equip the youth with marketable skills.

Masiyano, aged 24, from Traditional Authority Chilikumwendo in Dedza District, said the training started on August 12. 

He said to get registered, participants are requested to pay K60,000 each.

The Web design and development expert told ProjectM, the training programme is designed for individuals who want to enhance their skills in web design and development. 

He said: “Technologically, Malawi is far behind other countries in Africa and beyond. However, having hands-on practical training on the tools and skills needed for website development is a key to kick starting and profitably exploring the fast growth of World of Web development.

According to him, about 16 young men and women from Zomba and beyond are expected to attend this training opportunity.
