FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have been invited to participate in the Council of East Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) competition which will take place from 6 to 22 July, 2024 in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Other invited teams include, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) heavy weights TP Mazembe, Zambian Super League Champions Red Arrows.
Malawi’s TNM Super League defending champions will participate alongside 12 clubs from member associations while the remaining four teams have been invited.
However, Simba SC of Tanzania have won the cup six times while SC Villa of Uganda have been champions for three times.
The competition which started in 1967 has been known as the Kagame Interclub since 2002 when the Rwandan President started sponsoring the cup.
