The Zoe Foundation an orphanage located in Lilongwe, Malawi which provides a loving home to 100 orphans and has extended its reach to support the local community through various initiatives.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, the foundation has been able to provide new homes to over 10 less privileged families in Lilongwe this year and has supported many more with activities such as farming and small-scale businesses.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these families and individuals, our mission is to provide hope and support to those in need, and we are committed to continuing this work in the years to come.” Explained Temwa Chilenga founder of Zoe Foundation.
The Zoe Foundation’s community outreach programme is designed to provide support and resources to less-privileged families and individuals in the local community, the program aims to empower these families to become self-sufficient and improve their livelihoods.
“We believe that everyone deserves a chance to thrive, and we are dedicated to providing support and resources to those in need, we are proud of the impact we have made so far, and we look forward to continue this work in the future,” said Chilenga.
The foundation’s efforts have not gone unnoticed, with many beneficiaries expressing their gratitude for the support they have received.
“We were living in a small, dilapidated house, but thanks to the Zoe Foundation, we now have a safer and secure home. We are so grateful for their support and kindness,” said one beneficiary from Ndodani Village who opted not be mentioned.
The Zoe Foundation is committed to continuing its community outreach programme and expanding its reach to support even more families and individuals in need.
“We are grateful for the support from well-wishers, without whom we would not be able to do this work, we look forward to continue to make a difference in the lives of those in need,” said Chilenga.
