Gospel music and former Zathu member Theresa Phondo has released her first EP.
The EP has seven songs which include Hold On, Yahweh, Yewo, Shawami, Testimony, Alpha and Omega and Amen.
The EP has also featured renown musicians including Kell Kay, Driemo, Merchah and Saint Realest.
Speaking in an interview Theresa Phondo said she is excited to drop the EP.
“This project represents a significant milestone in my musical journey and am eager to share with you and most importantly to appreciate the support, she said.
In 2022 she released a single titled blessings which became the most streamed gospel song on Spotify by a Malawian musician.
The song recorded over a million streams on Spotify and it was also being used by some famous celebrities including host Tamera Mowry and renown US based Pastor Pastor Devon Franklin and actress Shana Lynch from the Woman King.
This year she released her first single Testimony which placed her on Spotify’s African Gospel Hits with over 170,000 listeners.
The EP is available in all streaming platforms.
