He said: “Before setting up my business and venturing into self-employment, my hard work, expertise, and unwavering commitment to my profession earned me a well-deserved recognition at two separate companies where I managed to save money that helped me establish my own firm called Dyson Welding and Fabrication Workshop in 2017.”

His firm is not only a source of inspiration but also a catalyst for economic growth.

“Since 2017, we have trained more than 30 young men and women and equipped them with knowledge and skills in welding and fabrication, thereby empowering them to break free from limitations and strive for extraordinary achievements,” said Kachiwanda.

Said Kachiwanda: “As you grow and acquire new skills, you become more self-reliant and confident in your abilities because this empowers you to make informed decisions, overcome challenges, and create a fulfilling life on your terms.

“Therefore, I am encouraging young and up-and-coming entrepreneurs to take the first step towards a rewarding and impactful career by going through Tevet training programmes and be equipped with relevant skills to create sustainable livelihoods.”
