Malawi National Women’s Footballer based in France Tabitha Chawinga has gone down to business in the France’s Arkema Premier League after inspiring Lyonnaises to an 8-0 thrashing of Guingamp .
Lyonnaises did not take time when they scored in the fifth minute through Melchie Dumornay of Haiti and two minutes later she completed her brace.
In the 34rd minute, Canadian Vanessa Brigitte Gilles made it three for Lyonnaises to go for recess leading comfortably.
After resumption, it was the Malawian’s show as she got to the end of a Dumornay ‘s cross to open her account in the 48th minute.
She added her second and the team’s fifth in the 50th minute with the help a deflection. Tabitha rounded up her memorable day in the 65th minute when she dribbled past the goalkeeper to slide the ball into the net.
