Organisation Provides Meals to Chiradzulu Hospital

The Talk to Someone Foundation provided meals to patients at Chiradzulu District Hospital with donation of K522,405.

The initiative was made possible through contributions from Nyembezi Kalungu, Evelyn Bonongwe, Emmie Kapindira and
Tionge Jackson Undi.

Their generosity ensured that every patient at the hospital received a well-prepared meal, offering not just physical nourishment but also a reminder that they are cared for and valued.

Dr. Tabitha Kayira Ngomwa, founder of the Talk to Someone Foundation, expressed appreciation for women, emphasising that their contributions are a testament to the power of collective action.

“It is through such acts of kindness that we can make a real difference in people’s lives. When we come together to support those in need, we create a stronger and more compassionate society.”

Paul Sichali, a Nurse and Midwifery Technician at Chiradzulu District Hospital, also commended the foundation’s efforts, saying such initiatives have an impact on patients and hospital staff.

“Talk to Someone has done the word of Jesus Christ, which says, ‘I was hungry, but you fed me.’ The generosity shown here uplifts not only the patients but also those of us who serve them daily. May God bless this foundation and enlarge its territory.”

Chiradzulu District Hospital, like many healthcare facilities in Malawi, faces significant challenges, including limited resources and overcrowding.

While healthcare workers strive to provide the best care, community support remains essential in addressing these gaps.

The Talk to Someone Foundation’s gestures shows that when people come together for a common cause.

Previously, the organisation donated maize flour worth K2.5 million to Pashelo Charitable Trust, supporting a feeding programme for over 200 elderly individuals.

Through these efforts, Talk to Someone continues to set an example of kindness and selflessness, inspiring more people to give back to their communities.

The donation is a testament to the power of compassion.

It not only provided physical sustenance to those in need but also brought a sense of hope and encouragement, proving that even small gestures of kindness can have a lasting impact.
