The countdown to the Mpoto Awards 2024 has begun, with organizers announcing advanced preparations for the highly anticipated event.
Scheduled to take place on November 22 at the Grand Palace Hotel in Mzuzu city, this year’s awards promises to deliver an exceptional experience, celebrating achievers in various categories.
“We are on track to deliver the best event yet, despite facing some financial constraints,each year brings a unique feel, and we have taken feedback from previous years to make this one even more exciting and excellent.” Said Bunnet Mulungu an event organiser at Mpoto awards.
This year’s awards have introduced new categories to recognize excellence in various fields, including Arts & Entertainment, Social Impact & Communication Development, Media & Communications, and Gender & Women Empowerment.
The Mpoto Awards will feature 23 voted categories, along with two non-voted awards,the Regional Excellence Catalyst Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Despite facing financial challenges, organizers are confident that the event will be a success.
“We are committed to recognizing, celebrating, inspiring, and motivating achievers in the northern region,” Mulungu emphasized.
The event has secured sponsorship from Grand Palace Hotel and ULALO, but organizers are calling on additional well-wishers, corporations, individuals, and businessmen to support the event.
