Malawi’s pop music star Kell Kay, is giving fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join him on an international stage, thanks to a new competition launched in collaboration with Kanema Online and Nyasa Music Group.
The competition, valued at K4 million, will see one or two lucky winners travel alongside the Sunandii hitmaker to South Africa for the highly anticipated Joburg Invasion music festival.
Running for five days, the contest calls on fans to engage through the official Facebook pages of Kell Kay and Kanema Online for a chance to win.
Speaking during a press conference in Lilongwe, Letson Kamangeni, Director of Kanema Online, assured that travel, accommodation, and other logistics for the winners are already covered.
“This isn’t just a trip. It is an experience. We want fans to feel like part of the team.”
Kell Kay echoed the excitement, inviting his most passionate followers to participate.
“I want fans who love my music to be right there with me, experiencing the moment, living the dream,” he said.
The Joburg Invasion concert, scheduled for April 27, will also feature South African sensation Focalistic. Fans can expect not just an electric stage performance, but also an immersive behind-the-scenes journey, with Kanema Online set to document and share every highlight on their website.
