The Malawi National Football Team star Gabadinho Mhango’s future has been cleared with his agent Mike Makaab, saying he will see out his contract at South Africa’s top-flight team Moroka Swallows.
The Malawian star’s future was uncertain after the team sold its status to Malumo Gallants FC, according to KickOff.com
Reads a report in part: “The former Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu striker has been strongly linked with a move to Chipa United, but according to Makaab that will no longer be the case.
“Like most Swallows players, Mhango’s future with the club was not certain after its DStv Premiership status was sold to Marumo Gallants FC owner Abram Sello.”
Before the sale, the former FCB Nyasa Bullets striker had one season left with the club.
This comes after the Gallants owners decided to keep Mhango at the club, but could not disclose more details of the deal.
Gallants president Abrahim Sello confirmed that they will be keeping 13 of the Swallows players, giving players a panic.
“Mhango, he is with Marumo Gallants,” Makaab was quoted by KickOff.com.
The Malawian international finished the campaign as Swallows top scorer in all competitions with eight goals with six of them league goals while two are from cup games.
