Mwangalika, CEO of HB Space TL and CTO of AceuticLight, has proven himself a force to reckon with in the global tech landscape.
The innovations sold include an obstacle-avoidance gadget designed to empower visually-impaired individuals and an autonomous smart bin that revolutionises waste management. This smart bin automatically opens, incinerates trash and generates electricity from waste.
Additionally, Mwangalika’s premises security system, capable of alerting property owners to potential threats, has garnered interest.7
Mwangalika’s achievements extend beyond this sale, as he will represent Malawi at the Innovation Expo in Ireland.

Dr. Even Chizenga, co-founder of the acquiring American tech company, plans to refine the obstacle-avoidance device and make it accessible in Malawi at an affordable price.
