He disclosed this on Monday on the sidelines of of announcing that the Music Memorial Show is set for Chididi Community Centre ground and Nsanje Prison ground.

He said mountain hiking is being introduced in the district as part of sporting events marking the fifth edition of the Khulubvi Arts and Cultural Festival.

Trinta told ProjectM that it is unfortunate that the communities in Nsanje have had no interest in mountain hiking.

“It’s time for the people in the district to have a test of this sporting activity which is good for health,” said Trinta.

According to the executive director the mountain hiking will be done on the third day of the event.
