Ngosi who holds a Bachelors degree in Accountancy obtained from the Malawi polytechnic (MUBAS)and a BSC in Agricultural economics obtained from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources(LUANAR) has told projectM that, embarking on a path to become successful in business is an exciting and challenging endeavor saying this journey requires careful planning, disciplined, saving and strategic investments.
Ngosi the founder and managing Director of Hifa driving school and Hifa security company who started his business with a capital investment of k20,000.00 says, Malawians need to take initiative and look for ways to add value in their personal and professional life by being innovative citing innovativeness and entrepreneurship are the best options to promoting social economic of the country.
‘’I know what poverty is all about because I grew up with my mother who despite some set backs she managed to bring food on the table. After completing my education I went to teach at a private school and with the little I was getting I tried to save MK20,000.00 to start a small scale business.With only MK20,000.00 as a business capital, I tried to borrow a MK50,000.00 desktop computer which I used to open up a computer café. From this little investment, I became a millionaire because I tried to make a follow up of my passions and turn them into thriving business which did not end up only creating financial gains but also opened doors to endless opportunities for growth and fulfillment ’’,Ngosi said.
The visionary entrepreneur has told ProjectM that, apart from Hifa security company and a driving school has also acquired an inflax of properties such as plots, houses, motor vehicles including 15 employees.
He has also urged those who have just completed their tertiary education to look beyond the culture of looking for employment saying business is rewarding and that they should to set up or create a portfolio of investments.

On his future plans, the millionaire said he intends to grow his existing business and also invest in areas where he hasn’t done it before in order to create more job opportunities amongst ordinary Malawians.
