BULLETS BOUNCE BACK TO BUSINESS WITH BANGWE ALL STARS CONQUEST

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets returned to their winning ways after defeating Bangwe All Stars 5-0 on Sunday in the FDH Bank Cup round of 32 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre. 

A comprehensive win over the Bangwe outfit has seen the defending champions cruising to the round of 16 of the tournament. 

Although the first half ended in 0-0, the giants of Blantyre made their attacking intent clear from the first whistle which saw Patrick Mwaungulu and Chikumbutso Salima scoring two goals each while Babatunde Adepoju ended his goal scoring drought for Bullets when he scored  his first goal since he came back from South Africa.  

In the other round of 32 FDH Bank Cup games played on Sunday, Blue Eagles advanced to the round of 16 of the competition after defeating the TNM Super League leaders, Silver Strikers 5-3 in a tense penalty shootout after the regulation time ended in a goalless draw at Nankhaka stadium in Lilongwe. 

Mzuzu City Hammers were kicked out 2-1 by Karonga United in a game that was played in Karonga while in Mzuzu, Moyale Barracks have sent Chintheche United packing in a match that ended 7-1 in favour of the soldiers  

The 2024 FDH Bank Cup National draw was conducted on June 25 at the Mpira village in the commercial City of Blantyre.
