St Michaels and All Angels CCAP Church Building Golf, held in July this year at Country Club Limbe, raised K62 million, beating the K60 million target.
In a statement co-signed by the church’s moderator Rev Dr Takuze Chitsulo and Session Clerk Gospel Mavutula commended the participants and contributors towards the success of the tournament.
Reads the statement in part: “The St Michaels and All Angels CCAP Church committee, is pleased to express its sincere gratitude to all golfers, sponsors, donors, partners, members of the congregation and well-wishers who supported the Church Fundraising Tournament held on Friday 24 July 2026 at [Limbe Country Club].
“The tournament was organised as part of the church’s wider fundraising campaign to raise K60 million towards the St Michaels and All Angels Church Building and we are delighted to share that the campaign has now surpassed its target with over K62 million raised to date.”
The church described the proceeds as an achievement, saying it is a remarkable generosity, commitment and collective effort of its congregation, partners and supporters.
“Every contribution whether financial, material or through participation, is helping us preserve and strengthening our church as an important part of our heritage for generations to come. Together, we are restoring our heritage and rebuilding our future,” it further states.
