YOUTHFUL INNOVATOR INVENTS COMMUNICATION SOFTWARE

A 24-year-old Shadreck Kamwana has invented a voice command artificial intelligence software that allows an individual to communicate with both softwares and hardware.

The software called Grace, allows a user to communicate verbally with devices such as phones, computers, various home and office gadgets.

Kamwana, who is a renowned inventor from Kasungu District told ProjectM in an interview that once the software is launched, it will ease problems people face to operate various machines or devices.

“For instance, using Grace software, you can tell a bulb to switch on, a cooker to switch off or your mobile phone to call a certain number saved in your phone,” he said.

Currently, Kamwana is urging well-wishers to help with funds that can help him to launch the software.

“Grace is an extraordinary software, it will do whatever you command it to do while you are just sitting and relaxing on your couch,” said Kamwana.

Apart from Grace, the inventor has in the past invented an automatic school bell, a device that does not require human intervention for it to ring, a vacuum cleaner robot called Naphiri, an automatic water dispenser, bicycle indicators and charging system, just to mention a few.

Kamwana, who is a Second Year Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electronics student at the University of Malawi, plans to open a software development company once he completes his studies.

Takondwa Ndawala, an information technology expert, has hailed the Grace software, calling it futuristic.
