Seed of Hope Charity Organisation has been formed in Area 49 New Gulliver, Lilongwe to transform the lives of vulnerable children by providing them with a safe home, shelter, nutritious meals, and, in the long run, access to education.
In a heartwarming celebration of her birthday, founder Diana Baluwa Mwenyephiri with her husband Chifundo Mwenyephiri’s support, officially launched the organisation.
The launch welcomed 20 children who are now under the care of the organisation, a significant first step in what the founders hope will become a widespread movement of compassion and restoration.
“This is more than just a charity. It’s a mission to bring hope back into the lives of children who have been forgotten by the world. We want them to dream again, to smile again, and to know they are loved,” said Diana.
The organisation is calling on fellow Malawians to join hands in the mission.
“No one is too small to make a difference. Whether it’s your time, your prayers, or your support, you can be the reason a child sleeps peacefully tonight,” added Mwenyephiri.
The launch also highlighted the generous support of social media influencer and businessperson Ida Chicker Chabs, whose presence and donation left a lasting impression on the team. “Her kindness has reminded us that love still lives in the hearts of many,” Diana said.
Seed of Hope invites volunteers, donors and anyone with a heart for service to be part of this noble mission by reaching them at: +265 999 618 006. “We are not just building walls, we are building futures,” Diana said.
