VisionFund Malawi’s Mulanje Branch won Global Contest organised by VisionFund International’s the Business Optimisation Unit to recognise innovation at branch level.
A statement from VisionFund International says the challenge was simple yet powerful.
“Make one impactful change to improve customer experience, employee satisfaction, or both and showcase it through a creative and solution-driven video.”
Kasulu Branch of VisionFund Tanzania emerged second while VisionFund Mexico’s branch Ecapetec came third.
Reacting to the news, VisionFund Malawi said in a statement they are proud of the award which came a month after Malawi won VisionFund Africa award.
Reads the statement: “The victory adds to VisionFund Malawi’s continued streak of excellence. Hot on the heels of dominating the VisionFund International Africa Awards where we were crowned the Best Microfinance Institution in Africa and won seven other awards. This is yet another proud moment for our entire team.
“Branches from across the globe rose to the occasion with passionate submissions pouring in from Myanmar, India, Tanzania, Malawi and Mexico. Each video was a testament to the ingenuity, teamwork and commitment driven VisionFund’s mission to serve clients better every day.
“We are thrilled to announce that the Mulanje Branch of VisionFund Malawi has emerged as the number one branch globally in this prestigious contest.”
The statement further says Mulanje Branch’s outstanding video demonstrated not only innovative thinking but also practical solutions to everyday microfinance challenges, setting a global benchmark for creativity, collaboration and customer-focused service.
