Zomba-based entrepreneur, Fourmula Wiskes is making strides in the local food market after venturing into Peanut butter and Hot sauce production.
Wiskes’ company, Madyo Enterprise is providing healthy and nutritious food to communities surrounding Zomba City and across Malawi.
He has told ProjectM in an interview that his passion for entreprenuership was ignited by his vision to see Malawians access cheap and quality nutritious food.
After a vigorous market research in 2023, Wiskes settled for peanut butter and Hot sauce production.
“This is when I realised that I can create something that would make a difference in people’s lives and this was in 2023,” said Wiskes.
Madyo Enterprise products have now become one of the best selling products, particularly in Zomba city.
“My products are being liked on the market due to the fact that they are rich in protein, fiber and boosts immune system,” said Wiskes.
He said plans are now at an advanced stage to start mass distribution of the products across Malawi as currently, distribution is being done per order.
“My plan is to also penetrate the international market before the end of 2025,” he said.
Judith Cherwa, a shop owner based in Chikanda Township in Zomba City, has described Madyo Enterprise’s products as tasty, adding that they are liked by customers.
“I would urge him to get his products certified by the Malawi Bureau of Standards so that he should continue improving on quality,” said Cherwa
