Blantyre-based author Jabes to Launch Books

Hope Jabes, a Blantyre-based author, is gearing up for the launch of his two new books within the month.

Jabes, who has previously published successful titles such as Make Things Happen and Unleashing Greatness, remains deeply committed to inspiring young people to see challenges as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks.

Speaking in an interview with ProjectM Jabes said the books aim at encouraging young people to look at life’s difficulties not as pitfalls, but as stepping stones.

“Every challenge can be a source of strength if we choose to learn from it. The themes of his new books, Healing from Brokenness and Defying the Odds, reflect this powerful message,” he said.

He said: “Healing begins the moment we decide to confront our pain and use it as a tool to create the future we desire. We are all capable of overcoming the worst moments of our lives if we trust the process of growth.”

The book focuses on how individuals can recover from emotional and psychological wounds, transforming them into sources of resilience.

In Defying the Odds, Jabes emphasises perseverance and tenacity: “Defying the odds is not about avoiding failure. It’s about understanding that the road to success is often filled with challenges.

“What matters is how we rise every time we fall. The odds are never truly stacked against us. It’s our mindset that determines our success.

He said: “This book is a call to action for those who feel overwhelmed by life’s difficulties, urging them to find strength in adversity and push forward with renewed determination.”

Jabes believes that these books can help reshape the way young people perceive their struggles, turning them into fuel for personal and professional growth.

He added that in every challenge, there is a lesson waiting to be discovered.
