Mwanza based female entrepreneur, Florence Laudon has managed to transform her life financially through her agricultural value addition business she has been running since 2003.
Laudon is the founder and owner of CMPP Enterprise, a company that specializes in adding value to a variety of crops including Beans, Sesame, Hibiscus and Rice.
Laudon’s journey into entreprenuership was motivated by a sense of responsibility to support her family.
She has indicated that with a mixture of determination and hardwork, she embarked on a mission to create a successful business that would not only sustain her loved ones but also contribute to the growth of her community.
“Today, CMPP Enterprise is a testament to my hardwork and vision,” Laudon said.
She said currently, her products have established a loyal customer base.
“As I am speaking, my company has experienced a remarkable growth since its inception,” said Laudon.
One of the most significant impacts of Laudon’s success is the creation of employment opportunities for her community.
“CMPP Enterprise currently has employed 11 full-time workers, comprising four men and seven women,” She added.
Laudon’s desire is to see her company continue to grow and provide jobs for people.
