Christmas is indeed a time for spreading love and kindness, and the Deputy Mayor Isaac Jomo Osman of Blantyre City shared a special lunch with street-connected kids.
“I felt the need to celebrate the day with them, I wanted them to feel special and feel that they are loved,” he said, highlighting the importance of making these children feel seen and valued.
The event was a resounding success, with the kids dancing and playing games, their faces lit up with joy.
Deputy Mayor Osman couldn’t help but feel happy seeing them happy, saying “I’m very happy to see them happy like this.”
