Phiri Appointed As The New President of WFF

Zacheus Phiri has been appointed President of the World Fitness Federation (WFF) Malawi.

This prestigious role was officially confirmed in a letter from Graeme Lancefield, the International President of WFF, which also included Phiri as a member of the WFF International executive committee.

The appointment empowers Phiri to oversee the expansion and development of fitness structures in Malawi and to represent the country at international events, including the Universe and World Championships.

This recognition follows Phiri’s recent success at the Bodybuilding and Fitness Africa League of Champions in Lusaka, where he secured three gold medals.

Phiri shared his enthusiasm for the new position, noting that it will provide a platform to cultivate bodybuilding from the grassroots level in Malawi.

Phiri is a well-known bodybuilder from Malawi and has won the Mr. Malawi title multiple times, represented Malawi in the African Bodybuilding Championship.

Participated in the Arnold Classic Africa competition, affiliated with the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB).
