Christian Youth Group Donates To Montfort Demonstration For The Blind

My Bible My Friend Christian youth group on Saturday donated clothes to visually-impaired children at Montfort Demonstration Home for the Blind..

The clothes, collected from well-wishers and group members, were distributed to boys and girls at the home in a heartfelt act of charity.

The donation follows a charity event the group hosted on 15 October 2024, reaffirming their mission to assist vulnerable communities.

Speaking on behalf of My Bible My Friend, group representative Charity Kapondera said: “As a Christian youth group, our objectives are to preach the gospel of Christ and assist the less privileged in society. This visit reflects our dedication to showing God’s love through acts of kindness.”

“The donation was warmly received by the children, with Alinafe Vito, the Head Girl of the home, expressing heartfelt gratitude. Your visit today reminds us that we are not forgotten. These clothes and your kindness give us hope.”

Reflecting on the success of the visit, Charity Kapondera said the group would like to make an impact.

“Through this initiative, we were able to bring smiles, demonstrate God’s love in action, and positively impact lives,” she noted.
