NSANJE RISES TO 23 FROM 34 IN PSLCE RESULTS RANKINGS

Nsanje district has made significant progress in the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) ranking, jumping from 33rd to 23rd position out of 34 education districts in the country.

This improvement is attributed to the collaborative efforts of stakeholders, including Primary Education advisors, headteachers, teachers and parents.

The District;s Chief Education Officer MacShadis Dakamau expressed his delight at the progress, attributing it to good relationships with stakeholders as being a key factor in the district’s success.

He encouraged parents to continue supporting their children’s education by sending them to school when the new academic year begins on September 16, 2024.

John Mpotalinga, Headteacher of Chinyanje Primary School, also praised the achievement, saying that the district has been working hard to improve its ranking over the years.

He expressed optimism that Nsanje will continue to perform well in the coming academic year.

Last year the district was at position 33 out of 34 education districts.
