MALAWIAN CLOTHING LINE MAKES A MARK IN ZAMBIA SHOW

A Malawian-owned clothing line, Chiza Clothing Line has made a mark at the Zambia’s 96th Agricultural and Commercial Show held at the show grounds in Lusaka.

Hosted by the Agricultural and Commercial Cooperative Society of Zambia, this year’s event brought together industry leaders worldwide. 

In an interview, Chiza Clothing Line Managing Director, Chiza Mhango expressed delight with her company’s participation, saying the exposure she has gained has been invaluable.

“We had an opportunity to network with future business partners, explore potential avenues for exporting our products and learn skills from other exhibitors,” Mhango said.

Mhango said the experiences have broadened her horizons and equipped her with new strategies to grow.

“After this, I believe Chiza Clothing Line will innovate a lot,” he said.

During the show, Chiza Clothing Line showcased various clothing lines including brands made in Malawi.

Businessperson Vincent Matiya Chirwa has hailed Chiza Clothing Line for representing the country well at the event.

The show, which started on the 31July and ended on 5 August, was held under the theme: “Creating a competitive future through access to sustainable agricultural technologies and innovations”.

Various stakeholders had an opportunity to showcase various products and innovations.

President Hakainde Hichilema presided over the launch of the annual event.
