Renowned soccer analyst Kim Kamau has described the first round of the TNM Super League as exciting that offered blend of experienced and emerging players.
While congratulating the Bankers on being top performers in the first round of the tournament, Kamau has warned them not to relax because the second round which is expected to kick off a few days away from now promises to be tough.
“As we look ahead to the second round, we expect more exciting matches with plenty of twists and turns. We are anticipating that small teams such as Baka City, Fomo FC Chitipa United and Bangwe All Stars, who have struggled to get maximum points in the first round, will be eager to make their mark in the second round,” said Kamau.
On the other, he has said that is it sad to see the defending champions FCB Nyasa Big not performing to the people’s expectations considering that they are a team that won a quadruple last season.
The soccer analyst has also congratulated both the officiating personnel and the Super League of Malawi (SULOM) on a job well done.
“We would like to give a round of applause to all these two groups for showing us a beautiful game of football.
“We just need to remind them to rectify some of the outstanding issues as the second round of the tournament is scheduled to kick off soon.”
