Khulubvi Arts and Cultural Festival (KACF) is assuring the communities in Nsanje that despite the rehabilitation of the Nsanje Youth Sports Centre, the sporting disciplines will be conducted in this year’s festival scheduled for this week.
Coordinator for Festival, Eric Trinta said during the previous events, sporting activities were being conducted at the Youth Sports Centre, which is currently under rehabilitation.
Trinta told ProjectM that the organizing committee has already made an alternative plan to host various sporting disciplines.
” We are going to the three venues of Nsanje Secondary School, Nsanje Prison Ground and the Nsanje Community Ground,” he said.
According to the coordinator, this year people should expect new sporting activities such as volleyball, basketball, and bawo athletics in addition to the usual football and netball.
Chaiperson for the Organizing Committee, Peter Million said all is set for this year’s events, which are due from 28th to 30th June,2024.
He revealed that the 2024 anniversary people should expect new things that they are going to witness at the Nsanje Prison ground.
“Preparations for the various sports, traditional dances, and others are ready for displaying,” said Million.
