NYAMITHAMBO ARTS PALACE INTRODUCES SPORTING DISCIPLINES

The Nyamithambo Arts Palace (NAP) says it will introduce sporting activities to promote various sporting disciplines in Nsanje.

The Managing Director for NAP Eric Trinta said they decided to include sporting disciplines as another initiative to be done at the palace.

“Boxing will be introduced first before others comes into effective,” he said.

Trinta told ProjectM that boxing was one of the most loved sporting in the district; hence, given the priority.

According to the managing director, the Nyamithambo Arts Palace will also be offering body lifting and gymnastics.

He added that the palace will have a sports complex to cater for many sporting activities.

“The sports complex will pave the way for hosting both local and international sporting activities,” he said.

Nsanje-based resident Emmanuel Tsamdoka has hailed the management for introducing other activities in the premises.

He said this will be the first sporting complex in the district to  host many sporting disciplines.
